Atticus Mitchell is a Canadian actor. He is best known for role as Benny Weir in the teen comedy/drama series My Babysitter's a Vampire. In 2009, Mitchell began his acting career with a recurring role in the YTV series, How to be Indie playing the role of Carlos Martinelli.
Bio
Atticus is a young Toronto actor who has risen quickly to prominence in the teen comedy/drama My Babysitter's a Vampire. In 2009, Atticus began his professional acting career with a recurring role in the successful YTV series How to be Indie. Cast just days before shooting of the series commenced, Atticus went on to appear as the memorable cyber bully, Carlos Martinelli, in eight episodes during the first season and two more during the second season. Subsequently, Atticus landed his first lead role, playing the wacky vampire hunting nerd Benny in the Teletoon movie of the week/series My Babysitter's a Vampire alongside Matthew Knight and Vanessa Morgan. Atticus lives in the Beaches area of Toronto and attends Malvern Collegiate Institute. Atticus was also in a band called "Fishwives". He was the drummer in the alternative/indie/rock band. He and Rebecca Dalton are still friends now, along with Vanessa Morgan, and Cameron Kennedy. No word on Matthew Knight, but it's probable.
